1. The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Turf Boss Construction, 600 Englishtown Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 ("Turf Boss," "we," or "us"). They cover your use of turfbossconstruction.com, the client portal, and any work we perform under a signed estimate or contract. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the site or services.
2. Using the website
- You may use the site for personal, non-commercial information about our services.
- You will not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer, or test the security of the site or portal without our written permission.
- All site content — text, photos, logos, and project imagery — is the property of Turf Boss Construction or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
3. Estimates and contracts
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. Pricing assumes site conditions described in the estimate; material changes (additional excavation, removal of existing turf, drainage work) may require a revised estimate. Work begins when:
- You sign the estimate electronically or in person; and
- You pay the deposit specified in the estimate (typically 50%).
4. Payment
- Deposits are due at signing. Balance is due on completion unless otherwise scheduled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; standard processing fees may apply to cards.
- Invoices unpa d 14 days after the due date may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
5. Workmanship warranty
Turf Boss warrants its installation workmanship for one (1) year from project completion. The manufacturer warranty on synthetic turf materials applies separately and is passed through to you. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, vandalism, severe weather, pest infestation, or modifications by anyone other than Turf Boss.
6. Client portal
Access to the client portal at /crm/ is provided to active clients to view
estimates, invoices, project status, and messages. You agree to keep your magic-link sign-in
secure and to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS and call communications about your project, estimates, and invoices. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of non-essential SMS; project-critical messages will still be sent.
8. Cancellation
- You may cancel a signed estimate before work begins; deposits are refundable minus any materials already ordered or custom-fabricated for your project.
- Cancellations after materials are delivered to site are subject to a restocking and mobilization fee.
- Turf Boss may cancel a project if site conditions or non-payment make the work impractical; in that case, unused deposit funds are refunded.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Turf Boss harmless from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the site or portal, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, New Jersey, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at turfbossconstruction.com/terms.html with the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
